Abstract: Purpose: With growing environmental concerns, promoting sustainable  consumption behavior has become a critical societal objective. Sustainability advertising  is a promising marketing strategy to encourage such behavior. However, previous studies  have not adequately addressed consumers’ responses to firm’s sustainability incentives  through advertising or the impacts of customers’ emotional and cognitive perception on  the intention to and green products purchasing, but its impact extends beyond consumer  attitudes alone. This study aims to bridge this gap by examining the mediating roles of  green perceived value and environmental consciousness.  Methodology/approach: The construct of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB)  associated with the Stimulus Organism Response (S-O-R) theory was applied in this  study. Data was collected from 481 green products consumers in Ho Chi Minh City, who  have already watched sustainability advertising.  Results: The results had proven that perception of the information and message of  sustainability advertising positively relate to customers’ green perceived value and  environmental consciousness. It has been shown that there is significant encouragement  for sustainable consumption intention and resultant sustainable consumption behavior.  Implications: Theoretically, this study plays a crucial role as a contributor to the  research literature by integrating S-O-R and TPB theories in order to analyze how well  sustainability advertising can work. It underlined how consideration of how consumers  perceive and approach psychological factors is one of the key players in developing  attitudes and intentions. In the practical realm, the study results provide insightful  information for further research by addressing specific elements of sustainability  advertising that impact consumer perceptions and behaviors, thereby providing practical  recommendations for marketers and enterprises in enhancing sustainability programs  investment to better trigger sustainable consumption.</description>

Abstract: The global growth of bitcoin has sparked debate about whether bitcoin has a positive or  negative impact on water management and the ecological footprint. This study  examines the impacts of bitcoin on clean water management and ecological footprint in  48 selected countries during the period from 2014 to 2023. Ecological footprint  calculated as total ecological footprint per capita, clean water calculated as people using  safely managed drinking water are dependent variables; cryptocurrency through bitcoin  calculated as average weekly trading volume is an independent variable. By using  GMM estimator, our research found that bitcoin has a negative effect on clean water  management and increases ecological footprint. Moreover, governance index and  global innovation index are investigated to mitigate the adverse impact of bitcoin on  clean water resources and ecological footprint. Strikingly, in high income countries,  bitcoin is utilized more effectively than that in low income countries. These findings  are expected to contribute to the development of bitcoin, clean water management, and  ecological footprint so that bitcoin is promoted and people in these countries could have  better access to clean water. In addition, it is recommended that it is important to invest  in governance and innovation in each country.</description>

Abstract: Blindbox is an emerging trend in Vietnam, progressively evolving into a  substantial market with unique strategies. This research investigates the moderating  impacts of social and environmental elements in Vietnam, in contrast to prior studies  that mostly concentrated on internal factors inside the Chinese market. We analyze the  influence of region-specific factors, including Normative Social Influence and  Environmental Consciousness, on buying intention and subsequent purchasing  behavior. Moreover, two prevalent subjective characteristics, perceived risk and felt  enjoyment, affect the purchase intention of consumers in Vietnam, consistent with prior  research in other locations. The research elucidates the dual beneficial effects of  perceived risk and felt fun on purchasing intention within the Vietnamese market.  Notably, anticipated danger exerts a greater influence than reported delight, with  normative social influence further enhancing this favorable effect. Simultaneously, it  underscores the significant moderating role of normative social influence in mitigating  the adverse impact of environmental consciousness. This study offers pragmatic advice  for enterprises to cultivate the prospective Blindbox market via techniques that enhance  risk-taking, solidify pledges, and implement sustainable practices, thereby augmenting  the probability of actual purchase behavior.</description>

Abstract: This study analyzes the impact of economic expansion and energy-related factors on  CO2 emissions in 45 developing nations between 1999 and 2021. Using panel data with  the FE model and the Driscoll-Kraay method to address issues such as  heteroskedasticity, autocorrelation, and cross-sectional dependence, the results indicate  that GDP and primary energy consumption (PEC) are the two main factors driving CO2  emissions. Conversely, forest area (FA) and renewable energy consumption (REC) help  reduce emissions, although REC has yet to show strong effectiveness due to its relatively  low share in the overall amount of energy used. FDI does not exhibit a clear impact.  90% of the fluctuation in CO2 emissions can be explained by the model, emphasizing  the importance of adopting clean technology, increasing renewable energy use,  preserving forest areas, and directing FDI flows into environmentally friendly industries  to achieve sustainable development goals. However, the study finds no evidence  supporting the EKC, suggesting that the correlation between CO2 emissions and  economic growth in developing nations has not reached the "turning point" where  emissions decline as income rises. Additionally, limitations exist in controlling for  endogeneity and capturing recent policy changes, highlighting future research  directions. The findings provide crucial insights for formulating strategies in developing  nations that strike a balance between environmental preservation and growth in  economy.</description>
