Abstract: | Over the past few decades, the preservation of the natural environment has become a significant issue. Most organizations worldwide are paying attention to the environment. Effective green management in a manufacturing enterprise relies on the employees' pro-environmental behavior. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) on employees' Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB). Additionally, it explores the roles of Green Empowerment (GEE), Green Psychological Climate (GPC), and Green Commitment (GC) of employees in the manufacturing industry. The research data was collected from 227 employees working in Ho Chi Minh City manufacturing enterprises. The research results indicate that most of the relationships are accepted and statistically significant, except for the relationship between Green Employee Empowerment and Employees‘ Green Commitment, which needs to be reconsidered and re-evaluated. Based on the research findings, the research team offers recommendations and proposals with relevant management implications for each stakeholder involved. These aim to develop suitable green human resource management policies and strategies to shape and promote sustainable development strategies within businesses, with a particular focus on fostering employees' pro-environmental behavior as the ultimate goal. |
