The purpose of this paper is to formulate the new model of social entrepreneurial intention based on social capital dimensions. Authors present a literature review about the relationship between social capital and social entrepreneurial intention to identify gaps. There is no research which uses three dimensions of social capital (structural dimension, relational dimension and cognitive dimension) to measure social entrepreneurial intention, although these three dimensions were introduced in 2000. By developing three dimensions of social capital into three new structures, including perceived social interactions and ties, perceived social trust and perceived shared norms, this study introduces new relationships between these structures and social entrepreneurial intention. The findings also suggest implications for government in increasing the number of social entrepreneurs as well as new research directions on social entrepreneurial intention for researchers.en
