Abstract

The UEH library has completed four of the five phases corresponding to the road map in Saldanha's Transformation Model 5.0 (2019), including 1. foundation; 2. siloed; 3. partially synchronised; 4. fully synchronised and is stepping up the last one “living DNA” to become a sustainable innovational organization. The article describes streamlining the organizational structure and improving librarians' capacity when applying 4.0 technology in the transition from a traditional library to a smart library.
