dc.description.abstractThe thesis is a pioneer in research on the application of the public-private partnership (PPP) model in metro construction investment projects in Ho Chi Minh City. The author has synthesized relevant studies; learnt from the history of development; legal frameworks analysis; contract forms applied in PPPs projects; the reality of applying such model in infrastructure development in the world and in Vietnam. In addition, the study also pointed out the important role of metro for the socio-economic development of countries around the world, similarly, in Vietnam, the task of building metro system in big cities, particular in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, which have been addressed as important national tasks. Thereby identifying opportunities, challenges, and proposing solutions for the application of PPP investment model for metro construction investment projects in Ho Chi Minh City.en_US
