dc.description.abstract | Customer complaints have been studied for decades and that is also a key for a company to achieve its targets, follow thitsission and reach theiitsion. Customer complaints caused by purchasing departments in Digital Age Laboratories Limited Company (DADL) are analyzed in this report. DADL is a state of the art dental laboratories with a hundred percentpercent investment from the US. Turnover rate is also a highlighted symptom at DADL but it was not a main concern. Through group interviews and in-dept interviews along with references of previous researchers lack of Enterprise resources planning (ERP) system support is the main problem in purchasing department. It is not because of the financial issue, the department does not have technology support is because of the complexity of the ERP system. ERP is a powerful tool to support companies across all departments such as material planning for the production, forecasting for both financing department and the production. However, it is not just an software so it is complicated to implement. Finally, a few proposed solutions are analyzed to help the company limit their constraints including building an in-house system or hiring a third party to implement ERP system in DADL. As a result from estimated financial impacts, hiring a third party to implement the sytem in DADL is the optimal solution. A suggested action plan is planned to help the company to make the decision. | en_US |
