dc.description.abstractThis study contributes to the research trend of waste management by following: (1) propose a valid set of attributes for the multidimensional impacts of toxic waste management practices on sustainable corporate development, (2) deal with linguistic judgments to approach qualitative information to verify complex relationships under uncertainty, (3) identify prioritized driving criteria to improve toxic waste management in practice and their influences on enterprises’ sustainable performance, and (4) recommend appropriate strategies for enterprises towards sustainable toxic waste management and long-term profitability in the context of an emerging country. The study also emphasizes the contextual platform of theoretical and practical contributions, dependent on the management of the toxic waste process and various relevant stakeholders.en_US
