This thesis is to practice problem-solving in organizational methods through an actual business case study. Using the PSO methodology, the thesis becomes more logical and consistent, making it easier to understand the flow of the thesis. First, the thesis aims to identify business symptoms by analyzing actual data such as sales revenue, turnover rate, and employee productivity. In this thesis, we discovered an abnormality in employee productivity that led to a drop in sales revenue. We collected all the necessary data to demonstrate the existence of these symptoms. The second part of the thesis involves using primary and secondary data, conducting in-depth interviews, and collecting data to identify the main problem. After analyzing and demonstrating, the thesis indicates that the main problem is a lack of employee competence and skills, resulting in low productivity. However, identifying the main problem was not a simple task and required theoretical grounding, literature research, interviews, and data analysis. The most important aspect was proving that the main problem exists and directly impacts business growth and development. The third part emphasizes that all potential causes should be thoroughly investigated to identify the root cause, which is critical and aligned with business objectives. This thesis uses quantitative research by asking several questions to define objectives and deeply understand which skills and competencies employees lack. The final part is crucial as it involves taking immediate actions, both short-term and long-term, to improve the business and prevent the problem from recurring. These actions should be based on business expectations and investment costs. The effectiveness of the solution is determined by criteria such as project completion time, investment cost, operation cost, maintenance, upgrades, and training. The solution may not be comprehensive, but it is the result of data collection, theory review, and alignment with the Board of Directors. The thesis below demonstrates the entire process of problem-solving in the Voltrans company, which faced low employee performance due to a lack of problem-solving skills and task handling competence. The root cause was identified as a lack of soft skills in English communication, presentation, and custom declaration competence. The proposed final solution includes implementing a management trainee program, establishing a KPI recruitment system, and organizing a job fair strategically.en_US
