dc.description.abstract | This thesis addresses the main problem of work-life imbalance within M Company, focusing on its CON stores in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). The symptoms of this issue include a high turnover rate. This issue leads to the consequence of a decline in sales volume. The study investigates underlying causes such as low compensation, limited career growth opportunities, stringent punishment regulations, and an imbalanced work-life dynamic. Three primary causes of work-life imbalance were identified: long working hours and overtime, poor leadership skills, and role ambiguity and conflict. Among these, poor leadership skills, due to poor communication, lack of empathy, and insufficient leadership training, are the most significant contributors. To address these issues, two solutions are proposed: the Comprehensive Leadership Development Program and the Implementation of a Supportive Leadership Culture Initiative. The Comprehensive Leadership Development Program focuses on enhancing communication, planning, and empathy among leaders. The Supportive Leadership Culture Initiative, guided by the Path-Goal Theory of Leadership, emphasizes clarifying goals, removing obstacles, providing support, and tailoring leadership styles. This thesis recommends the Implementation of a Supportive Leadership Culture Initiative as the preferred solution. This approach fosters a supportive culture, enhancing employee well-being and productivity, thereby addressing work-life imbalance and leading to higher job satisfaction and organizational success. | en_US |
