dc.description.abstractMotivation and its relationship with learners' academic outcomes are topics of particular interest to many researchers seeking appropriate educational approaches while fulfilling the needs of society. To clarify the essence of “motivation”, this article focuses on the factors influencing learners' learning motivation. By using convenience sampling, the research team surveyed 200 students from the 47th and 48th cohorts studying at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City-Vinh Long Campus (UEHCV) through a questionnaire. The factors affecting students' learning motivation were identified and measured through Cronbach's alpha reliability test results, exploratory factor analysis, and linear regression calculated with SPSS software. The analysis results show that there are five main factors affecting students' learning motivation, including lecturers' behavior, goal orientation, classroom learning environment, teaching methods, and the application of practical research in teaching. Based on these results, some recommendations are proposed to lecturers, educational institutions, and learners to elevate learners' motivation. This study serves as the basis for future research to provide recommendations to lecturers, educational institutions as well as learners to help learners have better learning motivation.en_US
