dc.description.abstract | As globalization expands supply chains, VS & Co's supplier network in Vietnam faces challenges in managing a diverse workforce, where cultural diversity can lead to conflicts and communication issues. This study, titled "Investigating the Role of Supportive Leadership and Diversity Training on Teamwork Communication Performance: A Case Study of VS & Co’s Supplier Chain in Vietnam," examines how supportive leadership and diversity training can improve team communication by fostering commitment and reducing conflict within the supply chain. The findings suggest that key constructs examined include supportive leadership (SUP), intercultural self-awareness training (ISAS), intercultural sensitivity training (ICSI_A), and others' emotional appraisal (EI_B), all of which are found to positively influence team commitment (GCO). Conversely, several constructs including SUP, ISAS, ICSI_A, foreign language training (FLCS), flexibility and open-mindedness (ICSI_B), and emotional regulation (EI_A), Others' emotional appraisal (EI_B) and Self-emotional appraisal (EI_C) exhibit a negative correlation with team process conflict (PC). This research addresses issues of (1) poor clarity of information, (2) low interaction frequency, and (3) ineffective knowledge sharing by fostering supportive leadership, enhancing cultural understanding, and developing emotional intelligence. These improvements will increase team commitment, reduce conflicts, and strengthen communication, ultimately boosting productivity, teamwork, and the overall effectiveness of diverse team communication | en_US |
