| dc.description.abstract | This study examines constant connectivity influences subjective career success, problem-solving pondering, and problem-solving pondering affects employees' subjective career successness. Survey data were collected from 278 full-time employees in Vietnam. The results indicate that constant connectivity has a positive impact on subjective career success and problem-solving pondering. Additionally, problem-solving pondering positively influences subjective career success, suggesting that emotional reflection can motivate individuals to achieve their career goals. These findings provide insights into how digital connectivity shapes employees' emotional experiences and career outcomes. The study contributes to understanding the complex role of connectivity and problem- solving pondering in career success, offering implications for human resource management practice. Research purpose: This study examines the influence of constant connectivity, problem-solving pondering on subjective career success. Research motivation: Constant connectivity is becoming more common in today's workplaces, which has an impact on how people foster subjective job success and problem-solving pondering. Problem-solving pondering enhances employees' work objectives. Therefore, it is crucial for both consumers and enterprises to understand the potential benefits of constant connectivity. Research design, approach, and method: The study employed a mixed-method design and analyzed through partial least squares structural equation modeling. Data were collected from 278 full-time employees in Vietnam. Main findings: The findings show that constant connectivity positively impacts both subjective career success and problem-solving pondering. Interestingly, problem-solving pondering was found to positively subjective career success, suggesting that emotional reflection may motivate individuals toward goal achievement. These findings deepen our understanding of how constant connectivity shapes employees’ emotional experiences and perceptions of career success. Practical/managerial implications: This study adds value by highlighting the positive impact of constant connectivity and problem-solving pondering on subjective career success. The findings suggest that, when managed well, these experiences can contribute to career advancement and satisfaction in modern work environments. | en_US |
