Abstract: | The e-commerce industry in general, and specifically in the Vietnamese market context, has surged in recent years, driven by stable economic growth, a burgeoning middle class, and rapid technology adoption. Modern retail platforms now face fierce competition and evolving consumer behaviors. K-Platform, our startup multinational e-commerce retailer, is also experiencing the strain of the current market. The day-to-day operations at the company are struggling with internal issues that are hard to ignore and need to be addressed swiftly to minimize risks and decrease overall performance, with a major symptom highlighting too much inventory, holding up the company’s capital. This symptom ties up cash, squeezes margins, and slows operations down. This thesis seeks to identify the root causes of the high inventory symptom through a full perspective exploration. |
