People, particularly the younger generation, are beginning to participate in the energy-saving process as the energy-shortage issue spreads to many regions of the world. The team conducted this study with the intention of identifying and quantifying the variables influencing energy-saving behaviors as well as thoroughly examining the impact of those studies on the energy-preserving behaviors of young people, particularly students who are still seated in university lecture halls. The official statistics collection for this research was generated from survey questionnaires of 300 students attending colleges in Ho Chi Minh City, through the process of filtering, the team has found 282 valid samples . The study team applied reliability analysis from the data analysis techniques. Cronbach's Alpha and Composite reliability, average extracted variance (AVE), discriminant value Heterotrait-Monotrait (HTMT) ratio, evaluate the structural model through the coefficients VIF, R2 , f2, use regression to test the model and hypotheses. Throughout the research process, the team suggest study six following criterias and evaluate their effects: (1) Intention to save energy , (2) Personal Moral Norms (3) Attitude toward energy-saving, (4) Subjective Norms, (5) Descriptive Norms, (6) Personal Behavioural Control in saving energy of students in Ho Chi Minh City. The research team has also provided recommendations to individuals, especially students, institutions, on how to help and motivate students to engage in daily energy-saving activities and raise their awareness. Many conclusions are drawn from the research's findings to assist students and universities in general in putting more emphasis on energy conservation.en_US
