Research on factors affecting the decision to apply e-commerce of agricultural production households in Dong Thap province

Abstract

The study examines factors that influence the decision to apply e-commerce of agricultural production households in Dong Thap province. For this purpose, a survey of 200 agricultural production households was implemented to collect primary data. Collected data, then, were analyzed with SPSS software. We found that Performance expectation, Social influence, Production scale, Government support, and Farmers’ learning talent, are important and partially affect their decision to apply e-commerce of households. And on that foundation, some management recommendations are also included in this research to enhance the e-commerce adoption of agricultural production households in Dong Thap province for farmers’ better lives.
