Factors influencing the decision to use fintech services - payment via e-wallet

Abstract

Along with the development of technology 4.0, the application of Technology in finance (Fintech) is increasingly popular. It is considered a utility in addition to financial services of banks such as shopping, borrowing, or raising capital through electronic Apps. Especially since the Covid-19 epidemic so far has caused businesses and individuals to change their consumption habits and use of the internet in production, purchase, and payment activities. The article focuses on the factors influencing the decision to use Fintech services - payment via e-wallet in Vietnam. The results of the study from 232 survey votes showed that factors influencing the decision to use Fintech services - payment via e-wallet include: reliability, responsiveness, security, convenience, influence from society, and possible risks. Based on the results of the study, the team will make recommendations to overcome the risks that consumers may face.
