Abstract: | Using the ARDL approach, this research examines the relationship between carbon emissions and major economic factors in several Asian nations between 2000 and 2021. It indicates that, while GDP raises emissions, its square has the opposite effect, consistent with the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis. Natural Resource Rent (NRR) has a positive influence on emissions, but when combined with Green Finance, the effect is mitigated. This study adds to our understanding of how Green Finance interacts with GDP growth, NRR, and Carbon emissions in Asia. It demonstrates that Green finance can mitigate the negative environmental effects of NRR. This study emphasizes the relevance of green finance efforts and policies to sustainable development and environmental mitigation, implying that they are crucial to achieving carbon neutrality |
