dc.description.abstractIn other countries, several research models have been used to study the relationship between Work-life Balance and Quiet Quitting of different generations, especially Gen Z. In Vietnam, although the terms Work-life Balance and Quiet Quitting have begun to gain more attention after the Covid-19 pandemic, the theoretical foundation and research related to the relationship between these two terms have hardly been implemented. Therefore, researching the topic: "Work-life Balance and Quiet Quitting behavior of Gen Z employees after Covid-19 pandemic in HCMC: The mediating role of Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation and Organizational Commitment." is extremely necessary. This research was conducted with a purpose of identifying and analyzing the relationship between Work-life Balance and Quiet Quitting Behavior of Gen Z employees in Ho Chi Minh City and clarifying the relationship between Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation and Organizational Commitment, leading to Quiet Quitting in more aspects. Based on research articles on the direct and indirect relationship between Worklife Balance and Quiet Quitting as well as combining with qualitative research methods, the team has identified five factors include: Work-life Balance (Independent variable); Quiet Quitting (Dependent variable) and Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation, Organizational Commitment (Mediating variables). Subject of the survey are 18-28 years old, who are working in Ho Chi Minh City. Research approach used in this research combines qualitative research and quantitative research. To carry out the above research approach, the research team conducted two methods: preliminary research (qualitative research and preliminary quantitative research) and formal quantitative research. The formal quantitative research used a survey sample of 303 Gen Z employees in Ho Chi Minh City. SPSS 20 and SMARTPLS 4 are two assistance software which was used during our process of synthesis and data analysis to test the confidence interval, the validity and the importance of the variables. Besides, the research team also drew some conclusions and recommendations for the managers in businesses. These conclusions and recommendations can be useful tips to have a deeper understanding in Gen Z employees, which then can help to set up a better business strategy for promoting high-quality and robust young labor. In addition, the research also outlines limitations and suggestions for future research.en_US
