dc.description.abstract | In the age of Industry 4.0, characterized by significant technological advancements like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data analytics, the economic landscape is experiencing a dramatic transformation. This shift notably alters the dynamics of job performance across various sectors. As a result, long-standing prejudices about performance metrics crumble, presenting a formidable challenge to traditional paradigms. This study aims to determine the variables affecting working people's job performance to guide companies and policymakers as they navigate the rapidly changing technology environment. The data collection method employed in this study involved using an online questionnaire through Google Forms. A total of 344 workers who are currently employed in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the survey. The survey results reveal that factors such as work commitment, role ambiguity, transformative leadership, and job insecurity significantly influence job performance. In contrast, the conventional factor of job satisfaction surprisingly shows no correlation, presenting an intriguing departure from prior research literature. The study's findings not only suggest that our prior knowledge and experiences regarding job performance may have lagged behind reality but also provide insights from employees, aiding employers and managers in improving work performance and employee interactions within the company. | en_US |
