The 4.0 Industrial Revolution is strongly promoting the transition from a primarily resource-based economy to an economy based on knowledge resources with the pillars of the internet and digital technology. Ensuring human resources with the ability and knowledge of information technology and other digital skills is truly necessary in the current context. Therefore, investing in training and retraining digital transformation human resources not only helps businesses improve productivity and work efficiency, but also helps them adapt to change and create new opportunities. While the demand for digital human resources is increasing in the context of digitalization taking place in all fields today, the next workforce - young students need to be focused on training and retraining to get familiar with digital knowledge and skills, and be able to adapt to the future of technology and digital transformation. The study was conducted to determine the current state of digital competence of students at UEH University based on the European Digital Competence Frame work for Citizens (Dig Comp) and evaluates factors affecting students' digital competence. From there, we propose to apply the Triple Helix model, focusing on University Industry Collaboration for the purpose of training and developing digital human resources. From the results obtained, the study has a positive impact on improving digital human resources in the digital transformation period. From there, it helps reduce pressure and increase performance during the digital transformation process, while ensuring flexibility and readiness to respond quickly to challenges towards the sustainable development goals of enterprises in particular and sustainable development in general in Vietnam.en_US
