Abstract: | The ascent of social media has given rise to detrimental behaviors with consequences for people's well-being. This study explores links among social media stalking, sleep hygiene, online self-disclosure, compulsive use, and problematic sleep. Findings indicate that stalking and online self-disclosure contribute to compulsive use and deteriorate sleep hygiene, with stalking being the primary factor. Problematic sleep is influenced by both stalking and compulsive use, and compulsive use acts as a partial mediator between social media stalking and problematic sleep in this context. |
