In the logistics system, warehouses are crucial and ubiquitous in supply chain processes. When analyzing the role of warehouses in the movement of goods from manufacturers to end recipients, it becomes evident that if warehouse operations are not meticulously planned, the entire process can become stagnant, leading to shortages, delays, and supply chain disruptions. The topic "Enhancing And Integrating Technology In Inventory Management And Stock Control Processes For Retail Businesses In District 8 Ho Chi Minh City" aims to understand the operational processes of warehouse systems in various retail formats in the market. The entities selected by the group here are three typical commercial formats, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and grocery retail shops. The study is conducted in two phases: Field Survey and Analysis of Survey Results. In the first phase, the group selected 5 locations representing the 3 types of commercial entities, including the mini-supermarket Bach Hoa Xanh, the convenience store Circle K, and the grocery retail shop. All 5 locations are concentrated in District 8, an area densely populated with vibrant trading activities. In the second phase, based on the gathered data, the group described the locations, premises of the 5 sites, compiled statistics, delivery patterns, types of transportation used, as well as the volume of deliveries in a week. In addition, the group constructed an import process flowchart based on direct observation and interviews, discussed various types of documents, and technologies applied in the operational process. According to the observations drawn from the analysis, all 5 retail locations have both differences and similarities in store and warehouse operations. Each format has its strengths and certain limitations, but they all contribute to the diverse and developing economic landscape of the country, reflecting their unique cultural characteristics.en_US
