Abstract: | The study uses an OLS regression model to examine the impacts of social evils on alcohol and beer consumption among people living in rural areas in Vietnam. The results of the empirical model confirm that demographic factors of the household head such as gender, marital status, education level of the household head and evils such as drugs and prostitution have an impact on the amount of food consumed. alcoholic drinks are consumed. On that basis, the study proposes some effective recommendations and policies to reduce the amount of alcoholic beverages consumed in Vietnam. First, an educational policy right from the high school level about the harmful effects of alcohol and beer is necessary in rural areas to help people understand the harmful effects that this type of alcoholic beverage brings, regardless of its size. The amount used is more or less. After that, the author also proposed to strictly and thoroughly manage evils such as drugs and prostitution because these are one of the foundations for the use of alcoholic beverages |
