In recent years, Vietnam has increasingly emphasized the development of sustainable tourism based on its rich tourism resources. Simultaneously, effective measures have been implemented to promote the tourism industry as a pillar of the national economy. Establishing a cultural tourism brand has become a long-term strategic goal in the development of tourism in Vietnam. With cultural resources dating back over four thousand years of nation-building and preservation, Vietnam has fostered a cultural heritage characterized by ancient and splendid ethnic identity. Whether in times of war or peace, the Vietnamese people have always maintained a serious attitude, a diligent work ethic, and a strong will. Despite its relatively small land area, Vietnam is home to 54 ethnic groups distributed from the North to the South, each with distinct lifestyles. This diversity has become a valuable resource with many advantages for the development of cultural tourism. Dubbed as a 'Little Paris,' Dalat boasts numerous public and residential architectural structures built in various historical periods (the city has around 1,500 villas). Among them, French architecture predominates and stands out, especially in the architectural style of mansions and villas. These structures, diverse and artistically valuable, are modeled after prototypes from different regions of France, showcasing the unique characteristics of each French region. Dalat is also one of the cities in Vietnam with the most French architectural heritage. In addition to some famous architectural structures such as Yersin High School (now Dalat Pedagogical College), Dalat Railway Station, Rooster Church, Domaine Church, the working and resort villas of French officials and the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam, there are also villa areas with a strong French architectural style, such as the villas on Le Lai Street, Tran Hung Dao Street, Nguyen Du Street, and several scattered throughout the city. Each house and its surrounding grounds here exude a cultural atmosphere, unique architectural style, and reflect the preferences of the owners from various regions of France. Visitors are captivated by the timeless and elegant beauty of European architecture, as well as the diversity in the shapes and forms of these villas when they come to Dalat.en_US
