dc.description.abstract | In the contemporary corporate milieu, leadership paradigms have undergone a transformative shift, gravitating towards a more compassionate and employee-centric approach. This research endeavors to elucidate the intricate interplay between compassionate leadership and turnover intention within the specific socio-cultural context of Vietnam. Against the setting of Vietnam's rapid economic growth and evolving workplace dynamics, this study delves into how compassionate leadership behaviors influence employees' intention to leave their current employment. Employing a meticulously designed quantitative research methodology, this research amalgamates convenience sampling method and snowball sampling method by conducting an online survey among a diverse cross-section of employees from diverse industries across Vietnam, obtaining 214 valid responses. The study seeks to unravel the mediating role of psychological well-being and employee engagement, delving into the intricate causal mechanisms through which compassionate leadership exerts its influence on turnover intention. The findings of this research bear implications of both theoretical and practical significance, furnishing invaluable insights for organizations aspiring to fortify employee retention rates while concurrently ameliorating overall organizational performance. As Vietnam's economic landscape continues its dynamic evolution, the exploration of compassionate leadership attuned to the local workforce's needs and aspirations assumes heightened importance, hence untangling the influence of this leadership styles on employees’ turnover intention. | en_US |
