dc.description.abstract | Job performance not only affects the employee but also the organization where that employee is working. Therefore, devoting all resources to creating the best work results is a top priority for many employees and managers. One of the factors that deeply affects work efficiency is mindfulness in the workplace. It can reduce stress, eliminate factors that negatively impact morale, and increase employee productivity. Therefore, in this study, the authors, based on Hobfoll's (1989) COR theory, conducted research to evaluate the effects of workplace mindfulness on employee work performance. At the same time, further explore the mediating role of the two variables, work engagement and job satisfaction, in the above relationship. Data for the research was collected through an online survey using the "Google Form" tool with working people in Ho Chi Minh City. The number of valid samples collected was 215; then the author used PLS-SEM to analyze the data and test the scale and model. Results indicate that mindfulness at work has a positive impact on job performance, work engagement, and job satisfaction. where work engagement and job satisfaction play a mediating role in the relationship between mindfulness at work and work performance. From the results of the analysis, the author has provided discussions and implications related to variables to improve employee performance through practicing mindfulness in the workplace. However, the research still has shortcomings and limitations, which the authors also wrote specifically about in the accompanying research article, along with future development directions. | en_US |
