The research project “FACTORS AFFECTING THE INTENTION TO WORK AT AUDIT FIRMS: A CASE STUDY OF ECONOMICS STUDENTS IN HO CHI MINH CITY” proposes impacts that affect the intention to work at an audit firm and conduct large-scale surveys to obtain the most objective results. This project measures and determines the factors as well as the extent to which it affects the intention to work. In addition, the research model is built based on previous research to demonstrate the relationship between the factors that affect the intention to work and the relationships between the mediator and other factors. Overview of the research includes identifying research gaps, as well as presenting the research hypotheses and fundamental theories to build measurement scales inherited from previous research. It collected data from analyzing surveys and answering questionnaires from economics students in HCMC. The influential factors considered include Working Environment, Training and Promotion Opportunities, Reputation, Income, Location, and Agents of Socialization. After collecting the data, our team analyzed the data using the PLS-SEM method through the Excel tool and SmartPLS 4 software. The research results give everyone an overview of the factors influencing students' work intentions. Understanding these factors will enable students to consider the factors that people usually value to make a decision that suits them best. As for employers, they can also consider what conditions students pay attention to have a more effective communication plan. Schools can also expand their business links so that students are best prepared.en_US
