The Rise of China and Integration with ASEAN: Application GVAR model

Abstract

The study examines the relationship between the Rise of China in terms of economy and trade with ASEAN in the context of globalization. The rising has far-reaching implications for economic that links with the nations of Southeast Asia. The study shows that Southeast Asian countries increasingly have a heavily dependent on China, especially in the period of 2014-2020, because of China's implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" plan. The study also highlights the positive and negative effects of the interdependence between ASEAN countries and China.
